Hello Marissa Meyer! I am a HUGE fan of your book series the lunar chronicles and I can not wait to read your next novel “Heartless” very soon. I am a 14 year old girl who really loves your books and I have some ideas for another book you could right. You could right a book based on the fairy tale sleeping beauty and beauty and the beast which are one of my favorite fairy tales. But, this is probably a weird question that I am about to ask but are you related to the author Stephanie Meyer the author of the twilight series?

  2. Nakoa Short commented on:

I also wanted to suggest that you could write a book based on the fairy tale Mulan which is also one of my favorites. Which would show young girls that they can be just as brave as she is and that they can be a very powerful person. So they can make an awesome difference in this world and they could one day be in the history books. Plus, people would read their stories and they would be so inspired to be a better person than they already are. By the way I love the idea of the crazy hat contest that you are doing my mom has many crazy hats that I would wear if I entered this great contest. I love it mostly because I love Alice in wonderland and all the interesting weird creatures in that movie. Will you have other books besides “Heartless” coming out in the future?

    Hello Marissa!!!
My family of 5 will be flying for our very first time to Seattle so that we can meet you and attend the book signing. Our 13 year old daughter, Molly, is so excited to meet you. Your books have inspired her so much that she wants to become a writer, and is in the process of writing her first book now. I have read your books as well and absolutely loved them. It has been such a great bonding time with my daughter and I, so thank you so much for that! Designing Molly’s crazy hat and costume has been a family affair and we are thrilled to be able to be at this special event. This is exciting for all 5 of us, but we are really happy to make this wish come true for Molly. Thank you for doing this and having such a fun party along with it!

Just wanted to say I love all of your books. I even read some of your story’s that you wrote as Alica blade. I also wanted to say your my favorite author. I have never felt so strongly while reading a book. you have a great imagination and I cant wait for you to write more books, assuming that you will anyway. also, I was wondering the same thing as Nakoa Short. I’ve recently started the book twilight, while in the library I noticed another book by an author with the last name Meyer. so I was wondering if that is just a common name or if you have a lot of authors in your family. before I go I just have to say it one more time, I love your books and I hope you write more in the future.
