Yay! You’re going to be in Beaverton. I was really hoping you’d hit at least Portland, OR but Beaverton is even better. I can’t wait to go.

  6. Secretly_Samus commented on:

I’m sure my husband won’t mind a 6 hour drive on Valentine’s day for a book signing… then 6 hours back.

  7. Natalie commented on:

Hoping Vancouver gets added! I was so devastated when I missed your signing for Cinder this year 🙁

  8. Ashley commented on:

OMG you’re coming to the UK! Will those other UK events include signings?

  9. Megan P commented on:

Oh if only there was an author that would say they were coming to Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada…but alas there almost never are.

Are the lanch (feb 5) and Scarlet (feb 21) parties open to the public?

  13. Marissa commented on:

Absolutely – all events (other than SunnyCon and the Library Conference) are free and open to the public. Hope you can make it!

  14. Rachel Patrick commented on:

    Hi, Marissa!

Quick Question: What’s the difference between the Launch Party and the Scarlet Party? I’d LOVE to go to the Launch, but I believe I have a fun. concert that night.

    Thanks!

  15. Marissa commented on:

Hi Rachel, I’m not entirely sure how the two will be different, as I’m planning the Launch party but not the King’s Books party. The launch party will have cupcakes or cookies and raffle prizes, and it will be a lot of friends and family dressed up.

I know King’s Books is planning a really fun night too, though, with games or something? And maybe costumes? It should be a lot of fun, so I hope you can be there!

  16. Erica Drayton commented on:

I hope to see you at Word in Brooklyn, NY in February. Do you think you’ll be adding a book signing in a B&N in Manhattan as well?

  17. DCCM commented on:

My friends and I will be there in Tacoma! I dare say the moms are as excited as the daughters 🙂 Yay for local authors!

  18. Burgandy Ice commented on:

March 13th!!!!! Wow!! Yay!! I can’t wait!! 😀 Yay for Scarlet!!!!

  19. Dorinda commented on:

    No Cincinnati/Columbus/Dayton. 🙁

  20. Bri commented on:

    Please add Boston!! 🙂

  21. Greg commented on:

Is there a reason you’re avoiding the mid-west? Chicago is the third-largest city in the country! You and Veronica Roth could share a coffee or something…

  22. Marissa commented on:

Thanks for your comments, Dorinda and Greg, but I’m afraid I went to Cincinnati and Chicago last year while touring for Cinder, and my publisher wants to send me to new cities this time around. But I hope to return to both cities in the future!

  23. Margaret Ann commented on:

Any word yet on where/time of day you will be in Nashville?

  24. Rachel commented on:

I don’t know that there are enough words in the English language to describe my excitement that you’re coming to Mississippi! TWICE! I’ll be at Lemuria on the 7th! 🙂

  25. Hunter commented on:

I’m so excited for DC! Totally going, if possible. And, if not possible, still going!
