I’m back home from the Scarlet Tour and SO EXCITED to be sharing some fantastic news:

It was #4 on the Young Adult list during its debut week, and is still on the list for week number 2!

PLUS! CINDER is currently experiencing its third week on the Young Adult extended list! Last week it ranked #12.

A million thanks to everyone who has supported these books, shared them with friends, reviewed them on their blogs, given them as gifts, or added them to your personal library. I am so happy and honored that you’re enjoying The Lunar Chronicles!

If you couldn’t make it to a tour event this year but want to live vicariously, there are now photos posted on the Facebook pages from the SCARLET tour events.

Congratulations on the bestseller! It sounds like you had a wonderful time on the tour! I would really like to see those pictures but when I click on either link it says page not found. Is this just me?

I’m a new high school library media specialist and my students and I have fallen in love with The Lunar Chronicles! I had kids running in frantically each morning when Scarlet was released to see if any copy had been turned in from the first wave of students who checked it out. It is so much fun booktalking Cinder and Scarlet to the students, and we all agree how clever the stories are, how much we love Captain Thorne, and that this is a book both guys and girls can love. THANK YOU for giving us such a great story to follow! We can’t wait for the third!

  3. Marissa commented on:

Thank you so much, Jan, I’m thrilled you and your students are enjoying the series!! That really means a lot to me.

Sarah, the link is working for me, so I’m not sure what the error might be. Do you have a Facebook page? You can also try this link and then click on the Photos tab at the top: I hope that works!

  4. Nica commented on:

This book so deserves it. I love Scarlet so much. The only thing I hate about is that I got to wait a whole year until Cress. I want it now! *hugs her books*

  5. Mime commented on:

New York Times Bestseller?! That must be the best feeling ever. Congratulations! I can’t wait to read it!

  6. Loie commented on:
